This is simple three ingredients, three steps recipe for babies. I realize I don’t share many here so I’ll start with this one. This swirl is so yummy you’re going to find yourself fighting the temptation to consume the baby’s yoghurt.

I have always had a problem with plain yoghurt. I actually thought the only use it can be put to is cooking because taken as it is, I find it quite unpalatable. The first time I bought plain yoghurt (accidentally) I swore to be more observant while shopping yoghurt, just so I never make the same mistake again. But then I tried this simple fruity yoghurt swirl that has changed my attitude towards plain yogurt.

Najjuuko (my daughter) really loves flavored yogurt and I think I have tried all the different flavors on the market but I still find them limiting in variety. So I decided to make my own flavor with her favorite juice; mango and grapes, and she loved it.

The best thing about it is that it’s really simple and you don’t even need additional sweeteners like sugar or honey.

– 1 cup plain thick yogurt
– 1 cup grapes
– 1 ripe mango

  1. Extract the mango pulp and blend it with the grapes.
  2. Sieve the juice with a strainer to make it smooth.
  3. Pour the strained juice over the yoghurt and swirl it to your liking. Garnish with grapes if you do wish, feed the baby, eat whatever remains.foodphoto11-15
