Okay first off, don’t be intimidated by the picture. This is basically frozen yogurt with a few fruits and cereal that makes a good snack that you and your kids will fight for. In the recipe, I used flavored yogurt but you could even use plain yogurt. The only thing you’ll be missing out on is the color that will make it even more alluring to the kids, and maybe the sugar, which you can make up for in so many ways like actual sugar, honey, or just the sweetness of the fruits.
2 cups flavored Jesa Yogurt
11/2 cups chopped fruit (could be apples, grapes, banana, strawberries, mangoes, etc)
1 cup granola (or a mixture of simsim, roasted ground nuts, oats, cereal, honey, raisins, etc)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Extra honey for garnishing
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Line a pan with foil.
Spread yogurt mixture into pan.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in freezer until frozen.
Remove from freezer, let thaw for 5 minutes, cut into bars and drizzle honey for garnish.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
